Meet Dr. William D. Bateman
Dr. Bateman graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 1997 with a bachelor’s degree in Cell & Molecular Biology. He continued his education at the Oregon Health & Sciences University, where he earned his graduate degree from the School of Dentistry in 2002.
Dr. Bateman completed his advanced education in General Dentistry in 2003 at Audie L. Murphy VA Memorial Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. In this program, he received advanced anesthesia, surgical and prosthetic training.
After his residency, Dr. Bateman completed hundreds of hours of CE advanced surgical and prosthetic training, including having graduated from the prestigious Kois Center in 2007.
In addition to owning this dental practice, Dr. Bateman founded Head & Neck Imaging, NW in Salem Oregon in 2006.

“I’ve been a patient since 2003 and have had excellent treatment from cavity, crown, bridge to implant. It’s never fun to hear something is going to become a problem, but so far Dr. Bateman has always been correct, even when I delayed wanting to see if the problem would resolve itself or not be as bad. His workmanship is the best I’ve ever seen and can’t find one flaw with the quality of past work. The office staff maintains the highest cleanliness and professionalism (along with friendliness), I’ve never felt the slightest sense of doubt about the whole experience of treatment (unlike I hear friends talk about their dentists). Going to the dentist doesn’t scare me and the discomfort of the procedures is something I’ve learned to live with, so I don’t really need/can’t speak to hand-holding for those who fear any pain or the sound of the drill. But Dr. Bateman is very attentive to how I’m feeling during any procedure and I’m sure they know how to help those who need it. I can’t say it’s ever ‘fun’ going to the dentist and I dread hearing the next thing that’s failing with my teeth, but I’ve learned it’s better to listen to someone who knows what they’re talking about and not have to regret your decision later. That’s why you search out a good lawyer or accountant, or any professional. It’s obvious that Dr. Bateman keeps up on his training, he’s very knowledgeable and takes great pride in his work.
