I felt that Dr. Bateman and his assistant were very thorough with the initial examination and Dr. Bateman gave me a lot of good information about what I should expect in future appointments. His assistant did a very good job at making sure I was informed about the patient liability that I could expect and they’re very flexible with appointments. I feel like I left my appointment satisfied and had no question about what to expect to come in future appointments, and I actually look forward to going to the dentist for once. I really feel like my health overall is of importance to them.

“I’m a little bummed that my first visit was only an inspection and taking pictures and I had to go back a second time for a cleaning. It’s a hassle to carve out two separate hours. But they do a good job and hopefully it won’t have to happen like that again. It wasn’t communicated up front to me that the visits would be like that. Dr. Bateman is great, his staff is friendly and knowledgeable, I’m very happy to have found his office.

“We have been coming to Dr. Bateman every 6 months, from Portland, since he started his practice. Every time, without fail, it’s a great experience (even when there’s serious work to be done!). He and his staff are skilled, wonderful, friendly, professional, and kind. Our 5-year-old loves coming to see Dr. Bateman and Teri. I think that says a lot!

“I have had a wire that became unglued from prior ortho work and Dr. Bateman was able to get the wire secured in no time! You may wonder why I didn’t go back to my ortho for assistance…..and to tell you the truth, Dr. Bateman has been my primary care dentist and I love his willingness to accept any “job” no matter how small (which this was pretty minor) and he and his staff are simply SO kind and accommodating. You can’t ask for a better dentist. Dr. Bateman has also gone out of his way to help a number of my family members including pulling wisdom teeth for my son-in-law who had never been to a dentist just last week. His work was amazing and my son-in-law walked away knowing that he had experienced the best that he could given the circumstances. And then follow up was impressive. Dr. Bateman personally called him on a Friday night to check in on him. I would highly recommend him! Not to mention his staff….don’t get me started! I good write a book on how highly professional, sweet and compassionate they are.

“Dr. Bateman saw me for a very tricky procedure under very risky circumstances and discussed the best approach, explained every detail, had an excellent and very competent assistant who anticipated his every move and was quick on the draw. Although I had wanted general anesthesia because I have already been to hell and back a few times in my life from awful medical procedures without sedation, they were such a good team that I did not require sedation for a very complicated extraction. They stopped several times to remove the jaw jack so that I could get my jaw out of spasm and rest it and were very patient with me. This was a “hot” tooth with bone infection and had been quite painful before. I have had no problems and no pain and the extraction was 24 hours ago. I highly recommend this team!
