Meet Dr. William D. Bateman
Dr. Bateman graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 1997 with a bachelor’s degree in Cell & Molecular Biology. He continued his education at the Oregon Health & Sciences University, where he earned his graduate degree from the School of Dentistry in 2002.
Dr. Bateman completed his advanced education in General Dentistry in 2003 at Audie L. Murphy VA Memorial Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. In this program, he received advanced anesthesia, surgical and prosthetic training.
After his residency, Dr. Bateman completed hundreds of hours of CE advanced surgical and prosthetic training, including having graduated from the prestigious Kois Center in 2007.
In addition to owning this dental practice, Dr. Bateman founded Head & Neck Imaging, NW in Salem Oregon in 2006.

“This was my first visit with Dr. Bateman. He was very thorough with the exam and explained everything he was seeing. I did not feel he was rushing through to get to the next patient. He also laid out a treatment plan in order of importance so I could decide when I wanted to have the work done. Everyone in the office was very nice and professional.

“Like a lot of 50 year olds, I’ve had old fillings since my teenage years that have just gotten old and fractured. I put it off for a year due anxiety/panic… I was recommended to Dr Bateman’s office for IV sedation. Dr and his staff are so professional, explain everything and do impeccable dentistry. After five hours of sedation I woke up with three shinny new molars, no pain ZERO ANXIETY!!! I’ll be back!!!! It’s so worth it to use IV sedation. Keep your mouth and teeth healthy

“This was the second dentist I’ve checked out for sleep dentistry. I didn’t feel as relaxed as the 1st. Still kinda nervous. Things were explained but really not in detail. Although Dr. Bateman was a little less expensive. I think I will go with the 1st dentist.

“Luckily I don’t have to go to the dentist often, but when I do, I receive excellent service here. The staff is great and, while it sounds silly, I enjoy going to the office. We joke and kid each other and it makes the scary work get done faster. They do everything to make me comfortable and help me get the maximum out of my insurance benefits.

“I am a white knuckle patient. It took me a while to find a dentist that I felt comfortable with. Not only Dr. Bateman but his entire staff are wonderful. They are very compassionate and caring. They make me feel as comfortable as possible and are always concerned for my feelings. Dr. Batman is not In Network for my new insurance. I am not looking forward to changing dentists and have been putting it off. I don’t think I will ever be able to find another office that meets the quality of care I’ve received from Dr. Batman and his staff.
