Meet Dr. William D. Bateman
Dr. Bateman graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 1997 with a bachelor’s degree in Cell & Molecular Biology. He continued his education at the Oregon Health & Sciences University, where he earned his graduate degree from the School of Dentistry in 2002.
Dr. Bateman completed his advanced education in General Dentistry in 2003 at Audie L. Murphy VA Memorial Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. In this program, he received advanced anesthesia, surgical and prosthetic training.
After his residency, Dr. Bateman completed hundreds of hours of CE advanced surgical and prosthetic training, including having graduated from the prestigious Kois Center in 2007.
In addition to owning this dental practice, Dr. Bateman founded Head & Neck Imaging, NW in Salem Oregon in 2006.

“Dr. Bateman and his staff were so welcoming and comforting I know I made the right decision coming here. I have been putting everything off because I ashamed and embarrassed of how I have let things become so bad. Yet the whole time the treated me with the most respect and dignity I could ever ask for I left with tears in my eyes but tears of joy to finally get things fixed.

“I was referred to Dr. Bateman for a root canal because I needed IV sedation. It was clear from the beginning that he is an excellent dentist at the highest level of skill, knowledge, and ethical standards (meaning he takes & shows pictures of the problem, so you know the work truly needs to be done; and he would never put off dealing with an issue if something needs attention). Additionally, he and his staff are delightful, and really put me at ease! And he is the best dentist I’ve had at being mindful of my sensitive gag reflex. I appreciated his work and the atmosphere so much that I decided to switch to him and make him my permanent dentist. Since then I have had a cleaning, and his hygienist is also excellent, professional, and delightful! I highly recommend this office to anyone!
