Meet Dr. William D. Bateman
Dr. Bateman graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 1997 with a bachelor’s degree in Cell & Molecular Biology. He continued his education at the Oregon Health & Sciences University, where he earned his graduate degree from the School of Dentistry in 2002.
Dr. Bateman completed his advanced education in General Dentistry in 2003 at Audie L. Murphy VA Memorial Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. In this program, he received advanced anesthesia, surgical and prosthetic training.
After his residency, Dr. Bateman completed hundreds of hours of CE advanced surgical and prosthetic training, including having graduated from the prestigious Kois Center in 2007.
In addition to owning this dental practice, Dr. Bateman founded Head & Neck Imaging, NW in Salem Oregon in 2006.

“Dr. Bateman’s staff is highly qualified in assessing and delivering exemplary dental services. Within a few months I have had much needed work: extractions, bone grafting, restoration of many teeth, implants, and overall cleanings and exams. Scheduling was consistent, appointments were on time, the staff is friendly and efficient, and I am so grateful that I finally found a dental office that I feel good about going to. Dr. Bateman is very gentle, and fast, and attentive to your comfort while the procedures are in progress. The initial comprehensive exam included full scan (in office) and was followed by several phases of work, so that I was never overwhelmed with too much time in the chair, and the payments were stretched out over time. I am confident when I smile now, I feel healthier, and I believe that the restoration has added quality and quantity in years, priceless time to enjoy life! SMILES – Everybody!

“My husband and 2 young boys and I have been seeing Dr. Bateman and his team for the past 5 years and have nothing but great things to say about them! They are very friendly and accommodating and are so great with our 2 and 5 year old.

“Dr. Bateman is the best dentist I’ve ever had. He’s qualified to do just about anything you might need to have done — he even makes your crowns himself! Everyone in the office is helpful and reassuring, from the moment you walk in until the moment you’re done, this from someone who definitely counts the minutes until I get to leave because I have a lot of problems and bad history with dentists. Anxiety, sensitive teeth, extremely high Novocaine threshold, bad genes (apparently), the whole catastrophe. Dr. Bateman provides IV sedation, which my previous dentist did not offer. Everyone there has helped me get through a tremendous amount of dental work over the last year and a half, and I’m not an easy patient (polite, but not easy). If they can help me, they can help anyone.
